1. Andan-SCREAM-O
• cellists: take turns screaming at end of each phrase
• pianist: normal (Andantino, Book 1 #12) except leave off last notes
• littles: scream
2. The Bloody Farmer
• cellists: very fast, last 3 notes of each phrase behind the bridge (As in Hitchcock’s Psycho score)
• pianist: (The Happy Farmer, Book 1 #15) but in F# major or another dissonant key (piano pdf coming soon!)
• littles: bow behind the bridge on last 3 notes of each phrase
3. Oh Come Little Children of the Corn
• cellists: normal notes, ponticello, correct bowing
• pianist: Book 1 #6, but in high Ab major or another dissonant key against the D major (piano pdf coming soon!)
• littles: do bowing in the air (“up down goes my bow”) with finger puppet on bow

4. French Freak Song
• cellists: normal notes, with huge bows, tone, and vibrato. Say/cry “AAAAAAHHHH!” on long notes. Advanced kids: Tremolo, or bass notes (below)
• pianist’s: very low bass notes (below) in octaves
• littles: say “AAAAAAHHHH!” on long notes and bow long up bows in air; or V bow open D on phrase endings; or can bow bowing pattern on open D.

5. Gavottomy Lobotomy: (Gossec Gavotte)
• cut off all phrase ending notes – no cadences at all (leader stops abruptly) – make confused face
• can cut-off ending notes (esp in middle section) more randomly as a fun “watch the leader” game. Littles can cry “ehhhhh?”
6. Go Tell Aunt Zombie
• cellists: regular, with huge bows, tone, and vibrato. Groan “BRAINS!” on all half notes. Big kids: can tremolo bass notes below.
• pianist: in B minor, big low octave chords (bass notes below)
• littles: do bowing on open D string, groan “BRAINS”

7. Twinkle Twinkle Little Death Star
• cellists: D minor Twinkle, Imperial March rhythm, huge tone and vibrato. Rhythm is: “I’m Darth Vader and I breathe so weird”
• pianist: play Imperial March accomp rhythm (No, no spiderman, no spiderman, superman YES!) on D, Bb and F
• advanced cellists: Imperial March accomp rhythm: “No, no spiderman, no spiderman, superman YES!” on low D and F
• littles: play regular Twinkle quietly
8. Have You Seen the Ghost of John
• cellists: divide into three groups. (Big kids use music if sight-reading)

• pianist: simple chords in d minor
• littles: sing the song, ghost finger puppet on bow, great bow hold
9. RigaDOOM
• cellists: normal notes EXCEPT use Bb (low 1) on A string , say “Noooo!” on circle bows. Big kids can play bass-line below

• pianist: (Rigadoon, Book 1 #13) in B minor, can just use bass-line above
• littles: do circle bows and say “Noooo!”
10. Witches Dance: with tricks (coming soon!)
• pianist: Book 2, #9. With tricks, need time between phrases, last scale 3 times
• littles just do tricks
11. Perpetual Monster
• cellists: Play starting on C string
• pianist: Book 1 #9 in C major, very low octave, heavy bassline
• littles: do bowing on open C with great bow hold
12. Scare-Zo
• cellists: normal, with extreme dynamics, stand up and scream 3 measures from end, at top of big crescendo (and keep this a secret from the parents)
• pianist: Book 3 #4 – don’t play last 3 measures! Sudden cut off for the scream
13. Song of the Witch
• cellists: cackle on the circle bows
• pianist: normal (Book 1 #4)
• littles: Cackle and bow circles (can bow on open D, too)
16. Frightly Row
• cellists: normal Lightly Row (or ponticello, or “creaky” like Olivia’s) Book 1 #3
• pianist: low octave D Jaws Theme (up to Eb)
• littles: air bow or bowing on open D
